Description:
Originally built as NYC #122 (serial #64024, class H-10a), this ALCo-Schenectady 2-8-2 Mikado buiilt in March of 1923 was later renumbered in 1936 to NYC 2222. A booster was added at the time as well increasing the T.E by 11,000 lb. Retirement came in June of 1953 and later it was sold for scrap in 1954. Original specs - 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 28x30" cylinders, engine weight of 342,500 lb, tractive effort of 63,470 lb. Unknown photographer
