Seaboard Coast Line GP7 #887 sits on the House Track with empty gondolas for loading freshly cut cross ties
Title:  Seaboard Coast Line GP7 #887 sits on the House Track with empty gondolas for loading freshly cut cross ties
Description:  The South House Track switch is on the left, under the bridge and branches off the main track. The camera looks north in line with the siding. The track veering to the right, towards the camera, is the Sentell Spur. Just on the other side of the bridge, the tracks are the Outside Track and Cleveland Pulpwood Yard (empty woodracks visible). The Outside Track was the primary track used for picking up and setting off local cars by thru freights. It had a capacity of around 60 cars and, when necessary, could be augmented by the Hill Track and House Track
