CCC. Here is a duplicate 35mm B&W slide showing the results of a rear-end collision. At the left is Pennsylvania Railroad N-6B cabin car #980314 built in the Altoona Car Shops in November of 1916; stenciled "Western Region." At the right is Illinois Central Railroad engine #1029A, a TR2A switcher built by GM-EMD as number "9207A" in December 1949, later renumbered "1029A," and then rebuilt and renumbered "1453" in 1981. The photographer's name, the date, and the location are not recorded. |
