| Amtrak Cascades #503 glides into Eugene 21 minutes late. The train is led by one of WSDOTs Series 8 Talgo trainsets, designed by Patentes Talgo, SAU, of Spain. These sets were meant to supplement five Talgo Series 6 sets, renown for their signature tail fins on each end. These sets were retired in 2020, and now the Series 8 sets operate alongside Amtrak Horizon cars on the Eugene-Seattle run. |
