| Caltrans 2124 leads a southbound Capitol Corridor train into San Jose Diridon. The Siemens Charger was built in 2020 to supplement a previous order of 22 units. These units, numbered 2101-2122, are assigned to the Pacific Surfliner, Capitol Corridor, and San Joaquin trains, operated by the State of California. 2124 and sister unit 2123 bring the total number of California DOT Chargers to 24, and operate on the San Joaquin and Capitol Corridor trains. |
