| Here is another unit that has led an interesting life. The unit started out as an EMD built F3B for Great Northern as their #434B unit. It was converted to a heater car and renumbered GN #11. It then moved over to the Burlington Northern roster on the merger to become BN #11, it was then sold to Amtrak and started out as their AMTK #1911 but later renumbered again to 661. Current disposition is unknown. An unidentified photographer caught it while it was in the Los Angeles, CA, area. |
