| I managed to slip my phone under the tunnel door to get this shot after my Canon DSLR had issues with the dark space. This locomotive is now privately owned in Arizona and the Richwood Tahoe Railroad has been erased from the Columbia Sussex property. The railroad opened in 2009 with the intent of being a special event and fundraising facility for charities and other organizations. The railroad ceased operations in 2015 presumably due to leadership changes at the company. The railroad remained abandoned in place until 2022 when the locomotive and rolling stock were sold, and the tracks and other fixtures removed. |
