TPW 1539         
After about another hour of waiting, CERA keyed up NS Dispatch and told them they were ready to cross at CP 78. I went down to the next road crossing east of there to shoot it coming by two of the PLs that still guard CP 78. The one on the right is an extremely rare pedestal signal. This is one of only three left active in the United States.

Tom Beckett General I doubt that pedestal signal is one of only three. I bet if you went to Long Island, you could still find a bunch. The LIRR was once a Pennsy subsidiary, and still has quite a few PRR position lights, even pedestals and dwarves, even though many of them have been replaced in recent years. 8/21/2021 5:33:20 AM
