Portraits 3. Here is a steam locomotive portrait via F.R. Kern that was taken in Camden, New Jersey, c. 1938. Shown here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #6506, an E-5S (4-4-2) "Atlantic" built in Juniata as NYR&N E-5 number "6" during April of 1911, renumbered PRR "6506" in 1918, rebuilt as an E-5S in May of 1916, and retired in December of 1939 after 28 years of faithful service.
