New Orleans Public Service car 809 was outbound on Willow Street, on its way from CARROLLTON STATION to the outer end of the SOUTH CLAIBORNE line. The car had window screens, which had been added to some cars after WWII which typically ran on the TULANE and ST. CHARLES belts. The car had been built by the J.G. Brill Co. in 1922 and was scrapped in April 1953. (date of photo is unknown) |
