Newark. Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide via Al Chione that was taken near Newark, New Jersey, on 19 July 1953. The photographer is not identified. Shown here (R to L) are Pennsylvania Railroad engines #4774 and #4756. Both are P-5A (2-C-2) electrics built by General Electric and rated at 3,750 horsepower each. #4774 was built during December of 1932 and retired in December of 1961, while #4756 was constructed in September of 1932 and retired in June of 1963. Partially visible at the left is WAVERLY Tower. ("Stoneborobranch"; #5 of 11)
