Here is a duplicate 35mm color slide (converted to B&W) by an unidentified photographer that was taken at Potomac Yard in Alexandria, Virginia, on 8 January 1965. Prominent here is Pennsylvania Railroad engine #4415, an E-44 (C-C) built General Electric in July of 1961 and rated at 4,400 horsepower. Note that both pantographs are in the "up" position. The road number of the GG-1 (2-C-C-2) at the left is not recorded. (Tchowee"; #2 of 27) |
