Sitting in a dead line with other steam locomotives is this 1919 Montreal Locomotive Works built 4-6-2 Pacific. Originally built for the Canadian Government Rwys (CGR) as their #490, it was transferred to the newly created Canadian National RR after the collapse of several Canadian railroads. Specs -serial #59474, class J-7a, 69" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 24x28" cylinders, engine weight of 268,000 lb, tractive effort of 39,736 lb. The loco was scrapped in October of 1959. H.L.
