| A CN local crosses a frozen Mud Creek via the former C&NW deck plate girder bridge as it heads northeast at Fox Crossing, WI (formerly Town of Menasha, WI until 14 Apr. '16) on 9 Dec. '18. The C&NW bridge was built by Wisconsin Bridge & Iron Co., North Milwaukee, WI, in 1923. Some of the bents of the former SOO timber trestle bridge, also in use by CN, can be seen under this bridge. Local was headed for Appleton, Little Chute, and Kaukauna. |
