Stu Nicholson General Judging by the attire, this look like it may have been in early spring, when the Upper Midwest would still be cold during the day. The pine trees suggest Minnesota or Wisconsin. BTW: The CMStP&O ran all the way to Omaha. 6/15/2014 1:07:46 PM
Robert Beichler General With the trussrods on the cars and what looks like archbar trucks on the tender I think these are late 1890's . Some of the cars are telescoped so they would likely be older cars at the end of that style of construction. All wood cars with trussrods were mostly out of service by 1910, great collection. 6/15/2014 8:03:49 PM
