The location chosen based on the February 1, 1952 CB&Q Locomotive Assignment Sheet. Number 2584 was built by Baldwin in 1905 (c/n 26844) as class P-3-C (balanced compound) number 2714, rebuilt in 1928 to a simple Atlantic-type, reclassed as a P-6 and renumbered 2584. It was retired and sold for scrap in December 1953. |
