| Here is a classic Lima built Bernshire - 1944, class S-2. This locamotive came with roller bearings on the driving axles and Worthington feedwater heaters. It had 69" drivers and could generate an impressive 245 psi of boiler pressure. Its tractive effort was 64,135 lb. This class definitely earned the label "Horsepower at Speed". C.W.
