This is the busy little shop switcher at Omiya Car shops hard at work. Here she is pushing an 'Express 185' EMU set into the shop building. Omiya {Grand (As in Big) Palace} is a major station and shop complex just outside of Tokyo in neighboring Saitama Prefecture. In addition to the shops and station, there is an excellent Railroad musiem very close by, I think it occupies a dormant portion of the shop property there. |
