Robert Farkas General If this were an insect, it would be a multi-colored "double stack-o-pede." 10/3/2013 11:29:26 AM
Fred Stuckmann General :-) Thanks. 10/3/2013 11:54:28 AM
Tom Beckett General I occasionally think that had stack trains been introduced in the early 70's, even up to maybe 1975, EL might still be a player in the NY-Chicago market. They had the clearances, and PC was falling apart, never mind the tunnels. Picture the same power that ran on A-CX99 or 2NY100 on one of these trains. Or picture an EL SD70ACe and an ES44AC rolling one of these trains through Kent, or bobbing thru the slip switches at SN, or hammering the diamonds at RU. 10/3/2013 12:06:48 PM
Fred Stuckmann General Oh the trains we run in our minds. Thanks Tom. EL had the UPS contract, so Mr. Beckett's comment is not off the mark at all. 10/3/2013 12:22:29 PM
