Built by the PRR shops in May of 1918, #1361 survives today albeit not in the same location. Interesting note by the unknown photographer -"K-4 #1361, an early K-4, gleams like new. (I was surprised to see a fence around this marvelous machine, felt it was a shame to cage it like a beast), here at it's permanent home at the curve. The locomotive is a gift to the city of Altoon from the PRR." Now preserved at the Altoona RR Memorial Museum |
