| Chicago & North Western Railway GP9R 4542 proudly showing a new pilot plow, MU hoses, class lights, headlight, and possibly an all-weather cab window at about Western and Grand Avenues in Chuicago, Illinois on an unknown day on October 1979, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Also seen is former Conrail RS32 2041, later C&NW 4240. It lasted about five years in C&NW service before being scrapped around August 1986. |
