| Just viewed Tracy Bones Rails to Trails album. Good stuff - nice photos of IT and NKP relics along the bike trails that have replaced the Rights Of Way in the Edwardsville, IL area. Felt compelled to post a shot of what Edwardsville and LeClair Junction looked like back in the day. Here IT 2001 leads a manifest freight through the jct. Power is pretty consistent with the way they ran in those days: grab every able-bodied unit in the yard to come up with enough power for the next train. |
