Description:  The Boone and Scenic Valley museum, or BSVY, had an ex-Rock Island caboose, #17051, as part of an excursion on 9-03-2011. The steam engine powering the trip, JS-8914, later ran around the train and coupled onto this caboose for the trip back to Boone from Fraser, IA.

This view looks northeast, and shows the former Rock Island's red, yellow, and white paint scheme. The B&SV has added its own logo on the cupola's side.
