Description:
Missouri Pacific caboose 13057 was bringing up the rear of an eastbound MP transfer run as it operated over the New Orleans Public Belt Railroad from
AVONDALE YARD
to
RACE STREET YARD
. The train was powered by Louisville & Nashville U23B 2703 and GP30 1033. The 13057 had been built by the MP at Sedalia, Missouri in 1952 as the 1252. It was subsequently renumbered 13057 and then 12057 before being retired in May 1980. (approximate date of photo)
