Description:  This SHARE IN FREEDOM XL was one of 250 50-6 cars in the KCS series 110001-112496 built by Pullman-Standard at Michigan City in June-July 1967. It was photographed on the New Orleans Public Belt next to a transit shed along the Mississippi River and its data was: CAPY 188 000, LD LMT 189 400, LT WT 73 600, CU FT 5224. The Chicago & North Western subsequently purchased 150 of these and rebuilt them at its car shop in Clinton, Iowa as C&NW 164000-164149.
