Title:  GTW 4910
Description:  Local work in Green Bay has this GTW unit shoving a cut of cars passed the C. Reiss coal yard. The coal yard is along the Fox River and overhead views show a slip for lake boat access. The slip is a bit overgrown with trees, so it probably hasn't been used for years. There is a long seawall along the shoreline, so perhaps they can trans-load to water vessels along there. Access to the yard is not readily available to see such things and in modern, post Sept 11 America, businesses don't typically answer or welcome inquiries about their operations.

Description:  A local spots a boxcar at RGL. RGL is a logistic company formed in 2013. A May 10, 2013 news release indicates RGL was formed by the melding of Leicht, Checker Logistics and RGL Specialty Services. A Georgia Pacific facility is the back drop to this scene. The rails are parallel to State Street here and served many industries from this spur, the numbers of which have been on the decline. Fortunately, as new industrial parks develop in the area, new rail customers appear. The buildings in the new industrial parks have no where near the character and architecture as these older buildings though.

Description:  CN local passes the former C&NW depot and Mile Post 0/243 at Green Bay, WI on 11 Aug. '15. The depot, designed by Charles Sumner Frost, was built in the Italian Renaissance Revival style and completed in 1899. Passenger train service ceased in 1971 but it was still used by the railroad for years. Since 1996 it has been home to Titletown Brewing Co. The depot is also a stop on the Green Bay Packers' Heritage Trail.
