Title:
LAMTA 109
Description:
A Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority train of P865 cars rounds the curve at 1st Street and Pine Avenue in downtown Long Beach as it begins its trip to 7th Street / Metro Center near downtown Los Angeles. This is the MTAs "Blue Line," the first line built in MTAs light rail system, opening in 1990. These are the original "Blue Line" cars (though no longer in their original paint), built by Sumitomo/Nippon Sharyo in 1989.
