In 1995 when I first visited the old Milwaukee Road Faribault depot, three or four silver hopper cars were parked beside it to take on recycled aluminum stored in the south end of the Milwaukee yard site. Then as late as 2004 another customer required service in this area. Now the rails are empty, awaiting whenever the next train comes at last. |
