Viewing Album:  Railfan Day : D&H Penn Div. & Main line from Lanesboro PA to Cooperstown NY

Album Info:a few Guys from the train club wanted to take a railfaning trip . We decided since CP rail is going to rebuild the D&H Main line from Albany NY To Binghamton NY with new track and new signals . We started in Lanesboro PA under Starucca Viaduct on the D&H Penn Div. The car that we drove up( there was 5 of us) had died 5 feet from the penn div. One of the guys friends from NY drove down to railfan with us. long story short he drove 3 of us to get a rent a car ( another long story) the rest stayed for a tow truck. Finally after 5 hours we were off. we stopped at one of the guys friends house in PA then we headed to Tunnel NY where there is a D&H tunnel. From ther we hit a lot of spots like Sidney NY where the O&W crossed the D&H to Cooperstown NY where the first DO (NYSW) railroad was .
