Viewing Album: DRGW 2-8-0ng #268 - circa 1950's - Reposted
By:
Gary Everhart
Dates:
1/1/1950 - 12/31/1954
Album Info:
This is a nice group of color slides on Denver & Rio Grande Western 2-8-0 narrow gauge Consolidation #268. Although the slides are stamped April of 1974, it's obvious that these were taken sometime in the early 1950's since #268 was donated to Gunnison, CO in 1955. For the most part, the color saturation & stability is very good for 47 year old slides! No location or photographer was listed. After the RRPA crash, the missing photos from this album were re-poster on 3/9/2025.
